I updated my 2500 to this one to get a better picture. it really does have a better picture overall. but i tried UHD Movies but its not playing the sound i am not sure why!! In some movies i see a very thin line in the middle of the screen not very noticeable but i can still see. i used to get options to change the movie audio track but i don't see it anymore. Not sure which framewire i am running but its setup on auto update. remote control feels very cheap.

i gave a hu9000 tv and have had the sek-3500 but have always been afraid to use it to upgrade because i have heard some reviews that stated you will lose your 3d technolog??? i purchased this tv specifically for the 3d i really want to use the sek 3500 but i want to be sure i will not lose my 3d feature. is there anyone who has used the 3500 to there hu9000 and if they have did you lose your 3d technology i really don't care about the 4k or netflix app. also if i use the 3500 to upgrade is it reversible. thank you

So right now if you have an HU model TV don't bother buying this. Many users across the country are having issues where there Smart hub will get in an application install loop, not allowing the to install any applications through there smart hub. On top of that Netflix isn't working for even more people when using the SEK-3500. Samsung has known about the update loop issue for over two months, and the netflix issue for a month. Neither of theses issues have been resolved; look at the forum post under TV "Smart Hub Not letting me install apps because "Smart Hub is Upgrading" if you want to verify that this is widespread issue.
