As with the other customer on here we spend a fortune on supposedly high end chef collection products for our new kitchen. We now have a hob that doesn't work and this oven that its also now a paperweight. When you call Samsung they mess you about for weeks and do anything they can to avoid providing warranty support, including deleting your registered products from parts of their website and then claiming they were not registered (when you can still see them on another part of the site). Frankly the products, in my experience, are expensive garbage and Samsung do everything they can to refuse to support you and leave you with kit that is not fit for purpose and no support. I could write a book about my experiences and I've raised the matter with Watchdog and UK Trading Strandards. And before anyone from Samsung says they would love to know more and help to try and look like you care please don't bother, I've spent weeks calling and being lied to, fed an ever changing and increasingly ridiculous story about warranty and finally told that Samsung don't have e a complaints procedure - and having done a GDPR request I even have copies of the call recordings and the data on the products that apparently I didn't register. Please save yourself the frustration of being left unable to cook for your family having spent thousands on this tat only to be lied to and receive no support from Samsung. Go with a company that makes reliable products and cares about their customers instead.

Used the pyro clean for the first time yesterday whilst it left the oven clean the glass door was in a worse mess than before it started, brown burnt on marks all over the door. I had a De Dietrich oven previously and had no problems with the pyro clean, left everything spotless. Is this a common problem? Tried to remove door but can’t seem to follow the instructions.

While the oven's baking / roasting / grilling functions work pretty well, to our great disappointment the pyrolytic cleaning function does not :( Firstly the manual advises you to remove all metal tray holders before starting the pyroclean function (so you are already expected to clean and scrub them separately, which wasn't the case for Siemens oven I used to own before), secondly, after 2.5 hours intense work (and smell), the result is simply unacceptable for a function one had paid a premium price for - several brown-black patches still remain and the entire inside of the glass door is covered with unremovable dark brown burn coat (have been scrubbing it for hours but yet haven't manage to clean it!). To make the matter even worse, the black frame on the inside of the glass door has now several see-through patches; somehow the black paint inside just partially disappeared in the lower part of the door! This must definitely be some kind of manufacturing fault. The door is looking dreadful now. I wish we didn't bother to use the pyroclean function at all! Will see what Samsung support will do about this.
