OK. 4 stars for what it is. It improves the sound quality significantly in my small viewing area. The subwoofer adds some rumble. EQ function allows tweaking. I use the optional sound module to power some rear surround speakers built into my room. Despite the impedance mismatch it works just fine. The unit syncs up perfectly and the rear volume can be controlled independently. If you use the little speakers included, which I did not try out but look solid, you must connect with wires. Overall, I find this system intelligently designed with enough tweakability to adapt to your situation. It sounds pretty darned good for what it is.

Extremely disappointed with samsung. Subwoofer is trash, by design, so we wouldn't blow them. Too quiet.
