in comparison with samsung products known for multiple features, this product is found lacking!
NO Bluetooth!! though it is claimed on the website. Lacks wi fi option. inadequate display options on the led display on the device.

Great sound and picture quality, at a reasonable price.
Pros: - Easy to set up (speakers and wires are colour coded. so they fit into the proper terminals on the player) - Crisp audio and video. The resolution, even on DVDs is really impressive and the audio is nice and clear. The speaker set is louder than it looks. - The number of A/V formats supported by this unit is fabulous. It plays new containers like .mkv effortlessly (though it doesn't support .mkv chapters), handles H.264 like a charmand with subtitle files. This makes connecting via USB more convenient than ever. - Anynet is really convenient. I have a Samsung Smart TV, and the feature was automatically enabled when I connected the system to it. I have connected the HT to the TV audio output via an optical audio cable, and the speakers automatically turn on/off when the TV is turned on/off. When I insert a disc, the A/V input automatically switches to the BD player. I could perform most of the functions of both devices using just the TV remote. Cons: - No Wifi - The unit features a wired internet (ethernet) port, which is virtually of no use if your router is far away from it. Fortunately for me, my TV supports Wifi, so it's not a big issue. - Speed - The menu navigation can sometimes be a little slow, as there is a slight lag. But as long as the output is as desired, it's hardly a problem at all. - Short speaker wires - My room had a rather complicated setup for the surround speakers, therefore I had to join wire extensions to the original speaker wires, as they weren't long enough. A little inconvenient. - No "return" button for DVD and BD menus (Anynet) - When playing a DVD or BD using Anynet, it becomes a little cumbersome to go back and forth to the menus,as there is no dedicated button on the TV remote. Therefore, "tools" has to be selected first, and then "BD Title Menu". This can get a little frustrating in the long run. - I can't seem to find Bluetooth support on this model, in spite of it being mentioned on the product page on the website. Not much of a difference, but Samsung should be careful when listing a product's features. Overall, this is a really good system, at a reasonable price. My room is too small to support a 1000W system, therefore I purchased this one. I wish Samsung would add WiFi support to this model in the future.
