    Excellent for 4 years then completely unusable...
    Excellent for 4 years. Then a 12cm vertical black line developed a 1/3 of the way in from the left edge. Clearly out of warranty, I was offered a 15% loyalty discount on a new TV... My old 50" Samsung plasma lasted > 10 years... 4 years is not long enough Samsung. This with a Samsung Fridge that the ice maker lasted 18 months. I am happy to spend extra $$ for premium quality products but my recent experiences show a change in value. Not impressed Samsung.

    Not built to last 4K TV
    Big 4K UHD TV investment failedNo stars and will not be a loyal customer anymore. Backlight dim with our family's first big screen 4K TV. As a loyal Samsung customer for decades (fridge, washing machine, tv etc), we are disappointed that our big investment for a 4K TV was a failure. I was hoping it would last years so I paid for wall mounting. Less than 4 years the TV broke with left side of the going black and white. Samsung support says the item is past warranty and the best they can do is a 15% discount which is small and laughable. I can go for repair but it will be out of my pocket. Is Samsung building products that won't last after warranty so you can buy a new one? I was a big fan of Samsung but now will go elsewhere.
