Enjoy Samsung Plus TV
I've had my tv for almost 5 years now and really enjoy the 4K. I love the Samsung Plus TV service that gives me subscription tv for free! I love that it has two anime channels plus the Vevo music channels, just love the Retro Rock channel. My only complaint is that I have to reset my memory once a month because it says the memory is full, and I hope Samsung puts in more memory in future models since streaming is now my only way to watch tv.

Good performance, but lifespan is too short
I bought this TV in December 2019. To be honest, I really like its functions, firstly, it is a smart TV, and secondly, it has 4K definition. However, in May this year, the left half suddenly became dark. After asking a maintenance man to take a look, he said that the left backlight strip was broken and needed to be replaced, but he didn't have the parts and needed to restock them, so I waited for 3 months. The maintenance man came last week, and I witnessed the whole process. All the maintenance actions were very careful and smooth. However, after the installation, tragedy happened. The LCD screen broke. I personally think that he did it carefully. , and in the end he didn’t charge any fees. I have two questions. First, it is said that current LCD TV backlights use LED, which has a lifespan several times longer than the previous CCFL backlight. However, I only bought this TV for three years, and I was away from Australia for more than a year due to the COVID19 epidemic. it has been used for no more than 2 years. I have had a CCFL backlit LCD TV for more than ten years, which is incredible. The repairman left this broken backlight strip to me and I am absolutely sure it is a quality issue with the strip, please see the attached photo. Secondly, the LCD panel is too fragile. It feels like the design did not consider the possibility that the backlight strip could be damaged and require repair. As long as it is disassembled, it will definitely be damaged. I will never buy a Samsung TV again.

Excellent service from appliances online. Delivered on time and great communication re the delivery time. This is the second time I have purchased products from appliances online and I can't fault them. Matt in product support went over and above my expectations- my new tv didn't have enough ports for both my pay tv and dvd player and when I contacted the support team, Matt emailed me with advice and suggestions then went on ebay and found me the cable I needed. Try getting that service at one of the big retail stores. If you are thinking of buying an appliance and wonder if appliances online is as great as the customer reviews say- YES IT IS.
