It’s great when it works. Often I’ll press the desired temp, walk away and come back to nothing. Sometimes when you press the button it just turns itself off. I’ve made sure there is no water on the conection ect but happens every few days. I’ve had the kettle cut 18 mths and it’s been doing it since 6. I’m just riding it out until it dies completely

I purchased this kettle a couple of years ago as the existing kettle was on its last legs but did not use it straight away. The time eventually came, and I commenced using it. Like other reviewers have commented the paint (written numbers) started to rub off. The main disappointing thing is that it has a tendency to let out an audible sound and switch off about 5 seconds after starting the process (as other reviewers have indicated). Just then it took 4 attempts to boil the kettle. I could accept it if the water in the kettle was moving and "rocking" the connection but thats not the case. Time to get a new kettle and it definitely won't be this brand.

I purchased this kettle about 12 months ago. It is so noisy that it actually wakes people up when turned on in the morning. Everyone who stays says the kettle woke them up, which isn’t great when I get up at 5am every morning and just want a cuppa. It gurgles and pops and is by far the loudest kettle I’ve ever had. I think the beeping every time you turn it on, lift it, set it back down is annoying. I wish I could turn that feature off! I like the keep warm function but rarely use it because the constant noise of it boiling is brain numbing!!! I’m looking forward to the day it breaks and I can buy a different kettle. No, I’m not joking.
