    A Free Cockroach in the Packaging!!
    Whilst unpacking the slow cooker I noticed something odd in the corner of the top/bottom cardboard (egg carton ) type material. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a quite large but by now dead cockroach!! Despite the instructions book comment, I wash everything I buy before first usage or wearing. Not a great start to my slow cooker experience.
