    These remote controllers turn a Rinnai Infinity instant gas water heater into a complete system. Now I simply dial up the water temperature I need so that there's no more adjusting hot and cold taps. I simply set the temperature, turn on the hot water tap, wait a few seconds and then jump into the shower or start washing the dishes. I recommend these controllers.

    Rinnai make very good Appliances. I have had the 'Instanteous Hot Water Gas Heater' for many years, and decided to add the extra controller to one of the properties. It worked perfectly as soon as it was installed.

    Pricey product considering how basic it is... Not sure I would have bought it if Appliances online didn't have it priced lower than their competitors.

    I already have the older model installed but it has become yellow after being on the kitchen wall for so long ... can I install the new model myself or does someone have to come in to do it? Jacqui · 2020-05-08
    Good Afternoon, Thank you for this question I also have had mine installed for 18 years mine also have discoloured to yellow colour as mine still works I have no need to change them really up to you if you feel the need to upgrade you are able to do this yourself it is just low wattage with two wires connecting this to your hot water system there is an old expression I think you know what that is....     Good morning, Thank you for this question about the remote controls, if you have a current model rinnai system the model controller you are looking at will work for you, these universal controllers are touch button with an LED display which shows you the water temperature, with these installed you simply select your preferred temperature then turn the hot water tap only no need for mixing hot with cold to get the right temperature your hot water system using your controller will handle this for you. With universal controllers you are able to install up to 4 of these running off the the one hot water system, each controller comes with remote, wall installation kit, 20 Mtrs of cable and instructions.
