We love ring in our household! I currently have two ring doorbells (one the black and chrome and the other is silver). These doorbells give a peace of mind as the city I live in can be a little crazy sometimes! I have my motion set to above regular but not to the highest setting and it still picks up everything that goes on outside! The app for ring allows for more than one person to have access to the video for the doorbells! Due to this, more than one person can receive a notification of someone or something being in view of the camera. The only downside I have about these cameras is the ring seems to die faster if you actually use it daily. They do make a solar power panel you can buy but my porch is covered so I’m not sure how well that would work! Still highly recommend these products as they give a peace of mind for when you’re home or away!

Amazing quality & sound. Love the fact you can change the capture area to your own preference, along with how often it will capture. It's got fun holiday sounds for the doorbell sound. Super easy to install whether you hardwire or get a slide over cover to hold it onto door into place if you are renting. The battery life without the solar is actually fairly decent.
