    Dear Phil, I appreciate your product inquiry. You can install up to three controllers on a single hot water system. It's worth noting that all brands employ similar technology. When one controller is active, it operates the hot water system. So, for example, if you set the controller to 40 degrees, the entire house will have water at that temperature. There's no need to mix cold water; the system will provide hot water at the selected temperature. When you turn off the tap, another controller in a different location, such as the kitchen, can be used to select a different, hotter temperature for tasks like washing up.     Good Morning, Thank you for this product question, yes each controller will come supplied with an installation guide, cable and there is a mounting guide provided. These are suitable for Rheem continuous hot water systems only, you are able to have up to 3 controllers in total, 299850 Kitchen Controller, 299851 Bathroom 1 Controller, 299852 Bathroom 2 Controller.     Hi there, Thank you for your enquiry, Rheem has specified that this particular unit is a standard controller for bathrooms. The manufacturers have indicated that it does come with a water volume key which is preset on 180L. (This means that once the unit reaches 180L in volume it will let off a beeping sound to alert the user) In regards to the controllers being interchangeable, you will need to contact Rheem (131031) to see which ones are compatible with your current setup.
