This product is mainly useful for the jack so it can be used in most electronic items in order to play music. Decibel level no problem and can also be used as a hands free on most smartphones. So, in conclusion, does a great job of letting you play your music and also has lasted for over two years in my case.

Hi! My name is Eva .I bought less than a year Philips earphones with mic. I used this product when I make phone calls and watch videos in you tube. Unfortunately after few months, the mic stopped working at all .Recently ,I am not able to watch videos .Every time I plug the earphones the video stops and the sound even come from the speakers ,not from the plugged earphones .I used 2 mobiles -Nokia-Microsoft Lumia 535 and HTCm8. The Philips In-Ear Headphones have been great to me for a solid year. Crisp sound, no cutouts or drop in quality and are comfortable all the time. I have worn them for my shift for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week since I purchased them and they have not let me down until just last week when they finally, finally cut out. I have tried /several/ in ear buds and these have been top notch. I would most certainly buy another pair!
