After intense research into all makes of Juicers finally settled on the 1873/00. Best choice ever made, easy clean, powerful motor, all parts assemble very easily. Faultless product and very proud of my choice as my Fathers Day present. Only problem is everybody calls around for fresh juice and I cannot say "No". Thoroughly recommend this model to anybody considering the purchase of a juicer, the HR1873/00 with its capacity to take whole fruit like Apples, Oranges etc is fantastic.

When I first saw this advertised I thought "Oh no, not another useless juicer" but after watching the demonstration, I realized Philips were not just using "smoke & mirrors" to con buyers. So, with a 30 day returns policy available, I decided to try it for myself. I've owned three juicers in my life time. The last two ended up in the back of the cupboard after about 5 or 6 uses because they had too many complicated parts to assemble, they spat juice and clogged with pulp within seconds of use and were difficult and messy to clean. The Philips Quick Clean is none of these and now sits proudly on my bench and gets used several times a day! I love the splatter-proof lid on the large collection jug (no more juice stains on my white benches), the upside down cutter/filter is a really great idea. The super-wide feed shoot makes putting whole fruits and vege's into the juicer quick and easy. The no-nonsense pulp collecter is simple to detach and easy to empty. BEST EVER JUICER!

I juice very day, this product never fails and is quite easy to set up and use. Easily rinsed by hand and left to dry. Have used in dishwasher, and it warped some parts, although Philips happy to return with warranty, I got the same model, as nothing else compares.
