I love this appliance. It means I can go out for a walk, or attend to my family while the bolognaise or curry is stirring away. I think it would make a fabulous present for a new mum - bath the kids while dinner looks after it's self!

If I had a Dollar for everytime I call out in my kitchen"Would someone come stir this for me" I would be rich...Well now I no - longer have to call out for anyones help as The Phillips HomeCooker is the answer to that call. Its like having a second pair of hands in the kitchen. . I m impressed with how easy the machine is to operated, I was cooking with it shortly after taking it out of its box, easy to set up ,cook in it and clean afterwards. While sautéing bacon and onion this morning, I went outside, picked fresh herbs ,made a pot of tea and chatted to a friend..all while the Homecooker kept 'an eye' and hand' on my dish. What a great product and design well Done Philips and Jamie Oliver for the yummy recipies.

The stirring action allows you to make risotto which is usually very time consuming. I actually sold though as I found I didn't use very often.
