[Employee of philipsglobal] Since I started a pescatarian diet at the start of the year I’ve not really ventured outside of a handful of go-to recipes, so at weekends I’m trying to become a bit more adventurous, experimenting with new fish or vegetarian recipes. Having received the airfryer free and not having used one before I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Avance XXL however I was quickly impressed! Equipped with a handy recipe book and the airfryer app I had lots of inspiration - from snacks and main meals to cakes, there were loads of choices. With the option to choose from a few preset cooking options or manually select settings, I found the airfryer to be a fast way to make meals, which was perfect even for a weekday evening when you want slightly healthier, tasty (and most importantly quick!) dinner. I found I could use minimal amounts of oil and still achieve great results, with the large basket size meaning I could cook multiple items at the same time. After using, it was surprisingly easy and quick to clean. Overall, it's a definite hit and I can’t wait to try more recipes!

[Employee of philipsglobal] I was a bit sceptical of this product and it's ability to cook good tasting food with little or no oil - I was not disappointed! The 'fryer' in the title is a bit deceptive as this product is more akin to cooking food in a microwave or an oven. My first experience was to make homemade potato wedges. They turned out a treat (I followed the french fries recipe it comes with) and were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside using just a few squirts of spray oil and were very tasty. It's a really easy to use product and much faster than cooking with an oven, can see a lot of potential with this gadget, would be brilliant for families.

[Employee of philipsglobal] I recieved this product for free. The Airfryer XXL is very easy to use and is porbably closer in operation to a microwave for convenience and ease. Simply choose one of the many receipies from the included book or download the app for even more, prepare the food and cook sans oil. The ease of use doesn't end there as it is also a cinch to clean and the removeable internals can be put in the dishwasher. Great taste and greatly reduced cooking time for quite a few items, notably halving baked potato cook time. There is some noise and heat generated by the airfyer, as you would expect, but the quick cook time keeps this to a minimum; comparable to a microwave. Do yourself a favour and download the full manual from the philips site, as opposed to the included 'quick start' booklet.
