the iron is easy to use although not so easy to clean. I needed Philips assistance to work out how to clean the base as not easy to access.

This is a great iron, I'm so glad I purchased it even though I intended to buy another brand. I'm a very particular about ironing and this iron is amazing. Aside from being so light, so easy to use (just turn it on and wait 2 minutes) and it gives a beautiful finish to the clothing, from linen to silks - it makes ironing a breeze. Well done Philips I'll be recommending this iron to others.

Purchased one of these today and brought it home and gave it a go. Fantastic. Worked my way through a bucket of ironing that had been building up. The old iron was a non-steamer version, a Philips Azur, and this one easily out performs it. My wife and I reckon at least half the time of the old iron. I particularly like the fact that the iron can sit face down while you adjust the clothes. So simple to use- turn it one, no settings to muck around with, wait a minute and then get in to your chores. Owning an iron like this is like getting the gift of time.
