[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ironing cloths need certain expertise like how to place your cloths properly on the board so that ironing goes smoothly without jeopardizing the part that you have ironed. We need to adjust the temperature according to the types of cloths failing which you can burn it (which happens a lot). If the iron is not properly cleaned it will stain the cloths. Placing your shirt properly on board and then hanging the cloths 1 by 1, all this takes time. Philips garment steamer solved all that problem and makes ironing task very easy. It comes with a adjustable pole, special garment hanger and safety glove. Just hang all the cloths that you want to iron, start the steamer and use it. After 1 cloth finish, just change it and you will finish in no time. The thinner the cloths, the easier and faster it iron but thicker cloths takes more time and its safe to use on all garments. Best for blouse, silk and cloths especially cloths with stones on it. We can even use the steamer while watching television. Storing and setting it up is also very easy, we can dismantle it and keep it in store room after use. To cleaning, just throw the remaining water and wipe it clean. And also as you iron, you can get rid of the tiny wool sticking to cloths and we can even refresh our cloths. However, the steamer is quite strong that it can scald us if we are not careful. The first time I use it, I got scalded as I am not use to it yet. I am still learning how to use it. I feel the glove given should be a little bit longer for better protection. You will certainly need a hanging board in order to iron cloths better especially thick cloths and if you want to give that crisp look on cotton shirt (like how an iron does). On overall, its good. After a few times, it gets more easier. I found that its best to iron when the cloths is 75% dry. It gets rid of the crease so easily. I will really recommend this to everyone I know. Cotton clothes will not get iron with this iron & if iron other type of clothes getting wet with the steam so again we have to dry it.
