The iron has a constant steam boost, which helps removes stubborn creases from items like shirts! I don't do a massive amount of ironing, but every time I used it I wasn't disappointed. I have used the Philips Azur Iron and felt it performed similarly to that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Phillips Power Life Steam Iron is fantastic. The design, although looking slightly bigger than irons I’ve had in the past is compact and light. The water refill section has a large easy to use clip ‘door’ meaning it can be filled with ease directly from the tap. It’s chunky handle offers great grip. The temperature is easily adjusted and it’s up in a good time. The continuous steam outlay results in the iron gliding across the clothes, removing creases with ease. This iron has certainly helped reduce the amount of time I spend ironing and is perfect. I’d highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to my old Philips iron, the Philips PowerLife Steam iron offers excellent and larger coverage as compared in the pictures below. The easy glide function is really practical and with Calc clean the iron doesn't get stuck on the clothes. The iron just glides through any type of clothes and it takes us less time to spend in ironing too. We would have loved an automatic setting where the iron sets the heat and steam according to the clothes type. The water opening above the iron is large and convenient to put water without spilling. The setting dial is large and the design is such that you can change settings without looking under the iron. I also love the colour combination and the design of the iron. Even though the iron is larger, it is not heavier. So that's practical.
