We have had this blender for some four or five years now and it has given excellent service. Recently the blade bearing started leaking, which I would put down to wear and tear. So I am awaiting a replacement part from your distributor in Victoria.

Before buying this product I did quite a lot of online research, comparing specifications. I also did some hands-on comparison in a department store. Some manufacturers were offering flimsy, cheap-feeling, plastic blenders. This model however has that build-to-last feel. It is solid and substantial. This blender doesn't just zuzz through liquids - it chomps through nuts and ice. It doesn't need fruit and vegetables to be chopped into itsy-bitsy pieces before blending - it's a proper kitchen appliance for grown-ups. However, I haven't made much use of the filter - for me, separating juice from pulp works better in a food processor with the right attachment.

I really like this blender. I have had cheap ones before which haven't lasted. This is heavy and sturdy and has all the power you need. I haven't really used the internal sieve attachment. The base comes off easily meaning the glass jug is easy to clean. Makes great crushed ice. I have has this for three years now. Before a blender would last a few months
