I bought this mainly as a micro stereo player for my TV's audio and for paying classical CDs. The sound quality is quite good for a mini system and I'm pleased with it. It also has many other features which I'm slowly exploring and will get to use over time. The only issue I've found is that it lacks an optical audio input for TV audio, which is standard now, and I have to use a headphone jack on the TV instead, which many new TVs don't have.

Think of this device as part computer and part high definition HiFi. I have it connected to my computer on my desk from which I stream lossless Flac files using the USB direct PC connection. I occasionally pair the phone using Bluetooth for playing mp3s but that is like 5% of a 192KHz Flac file. I have also tested the other connections (ethernet, wireless, USB drive, aux) and they all seem to work fine. One thing left is to try using wireless remote speakers. All in all I am very happy with the PMX.
