Have to see how these had up to use, my previous JBL buds only failed after about 2 years, and i needed a new pair, so i got these Panasonic buds , mostly on trust that they would not be garbage from this brand. Sound quality is excellent to my ear, and as I use them for cycling and running, no sound cancellation is actually a safety feature. Only downside so far is the battery life seems short, and the charge cable may be custom? I tried another USB cable at work when I was caught short, one I use for my over ear phones, and other micro USB accessories, and could not get the charge light up, I had to wait to get to the really short cable they come with to get them to charge again..

I was given this product to review as part of the Panasonic Review participation scheme. I was really surprised by these, simple to pair with my iPod, charged quickly. I got 4 hours and 45 mins out of my first charge. And I listen to music loud! I used these at home, out walking, shopping and by busy roads. The earphones fitted so well using the medium size, really comfy. The lead has 2 boxes on it, the remote box is by the R earphone. It sits nicely by your ear, but the other box on the lead then shifts round and can be annoying but not enough to put you off wearing them again and again. The buttons on the remote are easy to distinguish and use, there are only 3 to pause, FF, rewind or use to answer calls. The sound was really good, not superb but great considering these are Bluetooth. Higher volumes don't lose quality, and you can be in the next room and hear perfectly. The best thing is that you can connect, put your player in your bag or backpack and just go! No need to have your player sitting in your pocket so perfect for your playlists that you want to hear start to finish. The freedom of having no wire to bother with was great, and when the earphones came to the end of charge it beeped around 5-6 tines before it died. So plenty of notice a charge is needed So what would I want to improve it? I think some way of seeing the battery level would be good, although the charger is pretty compact to take out with you. I would like to rewind more than only 1 song back. You can only rewind to the beginning of the song. I found I had to hold the buttons 3 seconds to get it to FF or rewind so it isn't that quick. It doesn't isolate sound great, so you can hear a lot of what's going on around you e.g. traffic, people etc. But then some may see that as a safety feature! Also the earphones sound loud to other people, so commuting wise perhaps have more courtesy than usual But I must say, I really enjoyed using these and you get used to wearing them. Freedom!

I was sent this product by Panasonic, to review. The packaging is nice and smart - typical of Panasonic. I was excited to try these out and used them on the school run and doing chores at home. I found them easy to use but I don't see why there are two enclosures on the cable and not just one, the first is for the battery and is quite large and the other is for the electronics and control. Sound quality is good. My husband borrowed them and says he needs the largest buds for my ears where other in-ear phones he has needed the medium ones to fit properly, so might not be able to fit people with bigger ears.
