We updated two much older noisy and inefficient airconditioners last winter. Thank goodness! It's been a stinker of a summer and our two new Panasonics have been fabulous- and had a lot of use. They are quiet, functional, and efficient, just what one wants. I have other Panasonic A/C's in the house and have never had a drama or problem with any of them, very highly recommended, absolutely 100% reliable (which is a must for me.)

We installed our AC unit with an installer who doesn't usually sell Panasonic. I had done my homework though and felt that I really wanted the ECONAVI technology (the air follows you around the room, how good is that?) I also wanted the lasting quality I associate with Panasonic in general. Choosing this model added about $200 to the job, but when you look at lifetime cost of ownership that should zero out in about 24 months factoring in savings in power bills (compared to the other model I was considering). Performance is great. Can't figure out why we didn't do this years ago.
