We tried it in several rooms of different dimensions but it did not seem to cool the room air at all. The air from the machine is cool but we could only feel it if it was blowing directly onto us ie no better than a fan, really ( an expensive fan!).Works like charmEverything was fine with the exception of the window fitting.
