[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this product now for nearly 12 months. After initial excitement of having a range hood that worked and had a quiet motor with good extraction capacity, there are a couple of disappointing aspects that are very frustrating. 1. Cleaning. This is more difficult than I originally thought would be the case. The grease gets into all the difficult parts, especially on the central piece, that can be removed for cleaning,and the edges on the rear of the central section and inside the hood are sharp and you can easily catch your fingers on these edges when cleaning the product. 2. The second issue is the positioning of the controls for the fan sped and the light. These are located on the underside of the hood and are not readily available for use. You have to cram your neck to see up under the hood to make sure you can see what speed fan you have on. To really operate these controls it would be better if they were positioned so that you can readily see the fan speeds and the controls from the front of the hod.
