At the heart of the machine is Miele’s signature Honeycomb drum, which creates a fine film of water to gently cushion garments during washing. This innovative design reduces friction, helping to preserve fibres and extend the life of clothing. The 8kg capacity is ideal for everyday household use, offering the flexibility to handle both regular loads and delicate items with ease.
Convenience is enhanced with the AddLoad function, allowing users to add or remove items mid-cycle without interrupting the wash process. CapDosing technology ensures precise detergent application through pre-measured capsules, optimising cleaning performance while protecting garments from excess detergent.
Automatic load recognition intelligently adjusts water and energy consumption based on the size of each load, promoting efficient operation without compromising results. A range of specialised programmes caters to different fabric types, including delicates, outerwear, and hand-washable woollens, ensuring every garment receives the appropriate level of care.
Designed with simplicity in mind, the intuitive control interface allows easy cycle selection and operation. With its clean, modern design and focus on durability, the Miele W1 Classic 8kg Front Load Washing Machine is a dependable solution for those seeking efficient performance and superior fabric care in their everyday laundry routine.
Woollens Program
The hand-washable Woollens Program delivers gentle care for favourite garments. Delicate wool fabrics are treated with precision to help prevent shrinkage and felting, preserving softness, shape and quality while maintaining the appearance of cherished woollen pieces.
AddLoad function
Whether it's a pair of jeans, a blouse or just a sock: thanks to the AddLoad function, you can easily add any laundry items that you've forgotten – up until shortly before the end of the programme.
Miele Honeycomb Drum
A unique drum design forms a water film between laundry and drum, allowing garments to glide smoothly and reducing wear—extending fabric life and preserving garment shape over time.
Automatic Load Recognition
All Miele washing machines feature Automatic Load Recognition, an intelligent function that analyses the laundry in the drum and uses the appropriate amount of water and electricity required, helping deliver efficient performance tailored to every load.
