I was a bit apprehensive about spending this much on a fan but its worth it. You actually get a nice stream of air out of it and in silent mode you can barely hear it so its good for the bedroom. Cheap fans are rubbish and really don't work that well.

Am happy with this as bought for the bedroom and needed a remote, it also has a 'silent mode' and ability to turn of blue light (although this cannot be done with remote) which is great when trying to get to sleep. Only fault (so far) is that could have a longer cord.

The 'silent' setting is brilliant - it's so quiet and perfect for the bedroom. The normal settings are powerful and not even that loud anyway. One of the best features is that you can 'turn off' the digital display - which is very bright. The only thing that could make it better is if you could turn off the display via the remote instead of having to do it on the actual fan... 1st world problems :)
