I have mixed feelings in relation to my new Midea 90cm stove are mixed. It looks great, the elements are fast and effective but I am extremely frustrated that I cannot see the choices/data to operate the stove. I have to get down on the floor and use a torch to read the panel as I learn to use the oven.

I have now had this oven for over a month - and couldn't be more happy! Firstly, I was worried about buying a brand I wasn't familiar with - but I couldn't get passed the price, warranty and features. It turned out to be a good risk as its an amazing oven and cooktop.I have also since found out that there is only one manufacturer of the induction glass so no matter what brand you get it will be the same as this Midea (hope thats true). I switched from gas to induction as quite frankly I got sick of cleaning the cooktop, but actually I have found the cooking with induction so much better too. The oven is great, although having to set the cook time as part of the process is a little annoying. Food cooks evenly and doesn't burn. We looked at buying a known brand but they started at $5k and I don't know how you can justify the $3k price difference.
