    The XBOOM WK7 Smart Speaker from LG delivers premium class sound together with the intelligent Google Assistant. Just ask it to play your favourite song or get answers on sports, weather, finance, calculations, translations and more. You can also set up your compatible devices to work with the WK7 to answer incoming calls, to turn on and off the lights, and it also has Chromecast built in to integrate with your other Google devices.

    LG Smart THINQ technology communicates with your smartphone, allowing you to adjust settings or monitor your machine remotely. The app is compatible with most Android and IOS devices.

    Chromecast Built-In

    Never again drain your battery streaming your music through Bluetooth. The inbuilt Chromecast in this unit is designed to connect directly with your favourite music provider, e.g. Spotify, Pandora, so that you can easily play your favourite tracks while freeing up your smart devices.

    LG will not support this product!
    Its a fancy decoration after LG let the google software expire. It can no longer be found under Google home and will not connect. Terrible that a smart wifi speaker is no longer able to do its intended purpose. Whether it's Google's fault or LG's fault, they're both to blame for not supporting their customers.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meridian system at its best. Sound is fantastic. All notes are very practical and clear. I can't say go for it as it is discontinued but feeling Fortunate to have this besides my sofa.

We understand your inquiry about the unit repeatedly asking you to log in to the Google Home app, even though you are already logged in and the speaker has been set up. We recommend a full network and device refresh to help clear any lingering connection errors. Please unplug the power cord from your WK7 for at least 60 seconds, and while it is unplugged, please also restart your home Wi-Fi router and the mobile device you use for the Google Home app. After all devices have fully restarted, plug the speaker back in and allow it a few minutes to reconnect to the network before attempting a voice command. Your feedback is important, and we'd like to assist you further to restore the full functionality of your unit. Since this LG XBOOM model has been discontinued, updates are no longer rolling out for it, which may cause features such as Google Assistant to no longer function.
