After reading many negative reviews after purchasing and befor 1st use I wasn't sure what I had gotten myself into. All I can say to the people who think this noise or vibrates all over the place is, you obviously have done something wrong. My machine is virtually silent and it's in my European laundry in the lounger room of my 1 bedroom apartment. Even when going to sleep. Secondly, this is so much better than using an old dryer. No lint in the room after drying, and again near silent during the drying cycle. The wash/dry cycle is perfect for doing loads after 11pm when power is cheaper. Just turn on and wake up to clean dry clothes. If you nead something done faster just use the 30 Min wash only function, when completed push the dry button and start. Easy, read the manual for the first use.

I’ve had this for 2 1/2 year and it’s my second combo machine (the first was great). This machine now boils clothing and shreds them. After the drying cycle the water has not emptied out so when the cycle finishes the machine is full of boiling hot water and clothes. Both control boards have now been replaced - it doesn’t end cycle full including drying full of boiling water but the clothes are very wet and have clearly boiled meaning colour run and prints copy into other items where they have sat. I’ve been without a machine now for 6 weeks and can’t wait to get it out of the house and get something more reliable. It is a dangerous machine as the heat of the clothes and water could easily burn someone.

Worked well initially, although started to fall apart after 2 years and 4 months. Yes, that's right, just 4 months after the warranty ran out. Same happened with our LG TV and DVD players. I will be steering away from LG in the future.
