    Great concept and function - but no lint filter.
    I have had this machine for several months now, I love it however it does have 1 major issue - it doesn't have a lint filter so the pump drain filter clogs and creates an error and its quite a process to manually drain it and empty the filter. I feel like its a serious design flaw. Other than that, I love having the ability to wash normally, dry normally, or for those really busy days do a wash/dry cycle and get home and my washing is complete - washed & dry. I would definitely by a washer/dryer combo again - however next time I will get one that has a lint filter.

    Not as good as the old LG front loaders
    Having owned 2 LG washing machines previously, I really wanted to like this machine, but I'm a bit disappointed. There is no favourites button anymore.. the wash cycles are longer.. you can't see how long they are going to run when you are trying to select one... and there are no pre-programmed cold wash cycles. In fact, there is no way to pre-program a completely cold wash cycle that runs normal time with a high spin, so if that's what you want, it's a bit clunky to get there. In fact, if you want something that you used to get by hitting the one old favourites button, you need to twist the dial all the way around to the download cycle, then hit the temp button about 4 times.. which is a time waster. Such a pity, because my old LG was much easier to use. Other than that, it washes well, has a large tub and does have steam refresh button, which is a terrific program. If only LG could produce an update for users to download.. to sort these issues. My previous LG machines were much easier to use.

    Hello what type of plumbing and venting and electrical is required for this machine? I currently have a simple old fashioned top loader washing machine that drains into the trough next to it. What is needed for this washer/dryer combo machine? Thanks, Jules · 2024-07-24
    Hi Jules, this machine won't need anything additional. It has a water inlet, water drainage hose and power cable just like the top mount washing machine. In terms of venting, this machine will produce heat in the same way your current washing machine would if doing a hot load of washing - it'll emit heat by virtue of it being hot. But the hot, vaporous air from the drying process will get condensed into water and drained out of the machine, through the same hose it uses when draining the washing machine in a spin cycle.     Hi Josh, it is a condenser dryer - so it condenses the steam/hot air that would be released from the drying process into water that is then released through the drainage hose. There isn't any actual water used in the drying process (unless a steam setting is used). But the machine does definitely need to be plumbed out. Kind regards, Adam from Appliances Online.
