Only had it for a few days. I like LG products and this has enhanced my enjoyment. Unfortunately I can not get the optical connection to work. I dont know if this is the soundbar or my LG tv. I am trying to check this out but am loath to incur an expensive tv repair or to return a perfectly good soundbar.....

Bought this too compliment my LG 42" smart tv and I wasn't disappointed great sound sub woofer makes it sound fantastic. No need for an optical cable connects too the my LG tv wirelessly the settings are great standard,music,cinema and they do make a difference. If your looking for a great soundbar look no further but this.

This helps with the TV sound. It is important to wire up with LG sound sync to avoid lip sync errors. The sound isn't really good for listening to music, so worth getting a higher spec system if you intend to use as a hifi
