A very sleek looking and powerful microwave. It has plenty of room inside, good range of controls inside when door is open, plus there is an easy access power/time function from the outside. The microwave very powerful compared to our old one so it was easy to overheat food if you weren't careful while getting used to it, but overall very happy with this purchase.

Smoke coming out at 7 months old. Don't rely on the 2 year warranty. LG state the microwave had excessive steam which made it rust (and burn) so deemed not a manufacturing fault and not warranted. This was used as intended (to heat food) the same as our previous Sharp microwave which lasted 15 years. We will never buy LG again.

We have been using this microwave now for about a month. As we have been using another brand name microwave for over 30yrs, we found that, that brand, every model they brought out seemed to not last as long and have issues like the last one of theirs we had which barely lasted a year. This prompted us to decide it is time to look at other brands. Like all brands there are mixed reviews on them, so it makes it harder to decide what is best to get. We settled on this microwave oven. It was Choice 2020 best microwave. So we thought it is worth trying. To us this is an alien microwave. When you turn it on it chimes and when it finnishes it chimes, no dings like the other brands. It also is quiet, unlike our last one. Still getting use to the functions, the slide on the front to increase time, the settings, especially where they are located.The plate turn table is fantastic, makes the plate very stable. The plate itself is not as thick and heavy as our last brands' ones we have had, so i would be worried if i dropped it accidentally. The lighting is good, and is easy to clean. At this point I can't fault it too much. It lost a star due to the fact that you can only increase time by 10 second intervals. It would have been good if they made it that you could set the time as you needed it like 35 seconds, which we could do on our last microwave set various seconds to what you required. Also don't be fooled by the size of the microwave given in specs. It is actualy smaller in size than stated, this being explained to us that the bigger size is given for those who have a built in spot for microwave to go into, allowing for air flow. However if you are looking to put onto bench, is a good fit. It is 540 wide and 400 deep. If i hadn't taken a tape measure with me and measured it up in store, we would have overlooked this model as i would have been believing it wouldn't fit the space we had. For now, i am impressed with this model, happy with how it works. Maybe in a year hopefully it will still be functioning as well as it is now, time will tell. It has a thumbs up by me.
