I purchased the LG top loader 8.5kg series WTL185w earlier this year. Absolutely pleased with my purchase. I have only ever owned an agitator washing machine so was a bit dubious about owing one that had no agitator. I have found it to be a brilliant machine, clothes come out so clean, I can fit all my sheets and towels in one load but the best part is how quiet the machine is (after owning "thrashing machines" in other brands). I have to keep an eye on the time as it is so quiet I forget it is going. Love the see through lid as I can see the water level as I sometimes need to add a bit more water, no great inconvenience. Love how I can see how long the wash is going to take on different size loads. It is great with the separate wash, rinse and spin cycles when not wanting to do a full cycle. I would have no hesitation in recommending this machine to others

Purchased May 2025. This washing machine was a replacement for another LG I had owned for approx 10 years. So disappointed in the new one. Washing liquid and softener dispenser don't function correctly. I have to manually dispense. Programming does not calculate load/water level/wash time. This machine makes washing hard work.

WE had our new washing machine delivered by Appliances Online and their paperwork said that they would not install it, but takeaway our old machine. When their two most courteous men delivered it, they insisted on installing it (which was not a huge job), but. still, they didn't need to spend the time! The machine works fine and washes very well. All in all - no complaints, only compliments!
