[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the LG QNED MiniLED 65 inch TV for my husband's birthday gift.  He was so excited and says it is the best TV we have ever had.      Unboxing and initial set up: For such a large TV it was very light and easy to carry upstairs in the box. You need two people to carry and set up but it was not super heavy or difficult to carry. Unboxing was easy, but remember to look at the top of the box to find the legs. After taking the top off and removing the TV we realized that the legs and remote were still in the styrofoam up in the top of the box. Certainly not a big deal, just remember to look for them! Setup took 10 minutes, just lay the TV flat on a soft surface (We used a bed) and attached each leg with the provided screws. TV appearance: The TV is very sleek looking and can appear to be a picture frame when not in use. Does not stick out like a sore thumb and is a nice and classy addition to a family room or large bedroom. TV Picture: This is the reason you buy a TV like this, the 4K picture is amazing with near perfect blacks. As more 4K quality videos become available you will really appreciate this picture quality. Just make sure your settings are set correctly and that you are using a 4K capable streaming device. (The TV is a smart TV and has built in 4K streaming ability, but I am more comfortable using a Firestick and the solid apps on that device. Also an added factor in this decision was the difficulty using the "magic" remote, more on that below.) Sound: The sound is good and is probably the best you can expect for such a thin TV. Don't expect a booming base and if you want that you should consider a quality sound system. We used it without a sound system and it was perfectly fine. Flaws: My one complaint is that the "magic" remote is very difficult and frustrating to use. I would have preferred a more traditional remote. I've ended up turning the TV on and then navigating with my Firestick remote. This flaw is certainly not enough to outweigh what is otherwise an outstanding TV. Let's be honest: the reason you purchase a TV like this is the picture quality, which is what the TV delivers. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LQ QNED blows you away right from the get go, the picture is extremely bright and vivid. The blacks are inky and dark as they should be. Making any and all content pop with color, with out looking over saturated or too punchy. Its just the perfect blend of color and brightness that makes HDR look as intended. The image quality really shows off 4k HDR content as well as upscaled 1080p makes it looks like 4k. My kids gaming take advantage of the QNEDs FreeSync with the latest HDMI 2.1 connectivity. My kids love the low response time that only gives them an edge with competitive gaming. For novice users the built in AI for Video and Sound take the guess work out of ensuring you have the best setting possible. But if you are into adjusting every possible setting you can dive into more advanced configurations. The magic remote allows for easy navigation just like an air mouse, easy to use and the built in microphone allows you to just say what you want. Our QNED paired quite nicely with our LG Atmos sound bar, that allows for easy integration and singe remote use. This TV really ticks off all the check boxes, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best Mini LED TV on the market.
