Exceeds Expectations
When my Vizio UHD 60" TV died a few months ago, I started an exhaustive search for a replacement. I watched many many youtube videos comparing and analyzing brands, models, etc. I went to stores to look at different brands and, specifically, to compare, side by side, OLED and miniLED sets. I know the OLED picture quality is supposed to be the best, but we found that not only is the MiniLED comparable (as noted by some articles), we actually preferred that picture (a bit brighter). And with Black Friday prices, this LG set was way too good to resist. TV setup was basically a snap, but I still have much to learn about some of the smart features. The remote is very good. I had been using a logitech harmony remote, but the LG remote itself handles both the TV and my AppleTV box which I primarily use for content sourcing. I suspect (need to verify this), that the remote would also "manage" my Denon A/V receiver except my model is so old that it does not present HDMI connectivity.

My Review for the 50QNED85AUA has its Pros and Cons. On a positive note, the picture is clear and crisp*. Compared to another current year LG and current year Samsung, the GUI is considerably slower. Of concern*, the TV had a section of the screen go bad. LG did cover is under warranty but the process is overly long.

Excellent service from appliances online. Delivered on time and great communication re the delivery time. This is the second time I have purchased products from appliances online and I can't fault them. Matt in product support went over and above my expectations- my new tv didn't have enough ports for both my pay tv and dvd player and when I contacted the support team, Matt emailed me with advice and suggestions then went on ebay and found me the cable I needed. Try getting that service at one of the big retail stores. If you are thinking of buying an appliance and wonder if appliances online is as great as the customer reviews say- YES IT IS. Do yourself a favour and buy from this site, this is the only place I will be buying my appliances from in the future Julia, Burleigh Waters, Queensland
