Great Value, Sharp Picture, Smooth Streaming.
I’ve had the LG 43" UT8000 for a little while now; and honestly it’s been a fantastic upgrade. The 4K picture quality is crisp and vibrant—whether I’m watching movies, gaming, or just streaming YouTube, everything looks sharp and lifelike. The colors pop without feeling overdone, and the detail in darker scenes is surprisingly good for a TV in this price range. What really impressed me, though, is the webOS 24 interface. It’s clean, intuitive and super easy to navigate. I love how quickly I can jump between apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and even LG Channels (which has way more free content than I expected). The Magic Remote is a nice touch too—point-and-click navigation feels natural, and voice control actually works well. Sound-wise, it’s solid out of the box, but I paired it with a soundbar for a fuller experience. Still, even without it, the AI-enhanced audio does a good job of creating a sense of space. Setup was a breeze, and the TV itself looks sleek and modern—thin bezels, lightweight, and easy to mount. It’s not trying to be flashy, but it fits beautifully into my space. Overall, for the price, this TV punches way above its weight. It’s smart, responsive and delivers a great viewing experience without the premium price tag. Definitely a win in my book.

Excellent service from appliances online. Delivered on time and great communication re the delivery time. This is the second time I have purchased products from appliances online and I can't fault them. Matt in product support went over and above my expectations- my new tv didn't have enough ports for both my pay tv and dvd player and when I contacted the support team, Matt emailed me with advice and suggestions then went on ebay and found me the cable I needed. Try getting that service at one of the big retail stores. If you are thinking of buying an appliance and wonder if appliances online is as great as the customer reviews say- YES IT IS. Do yourself a favour and buy from this site, this is the only place I will be buying my appliances from in the future Julia, Burleigh Waters, Queensland

This model does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack, so wired headphone setups would require an external Bluetooth transmitter. To pair two Bluetooth headphones, make sure both are in pairing mode and go to Settings > Sound > Sound Out > Wireless Speaker. Change the speaker connection setting from one device to two, then follow the prompts to connect each pair.
