    We purchased this LG TV for our master bedroom. It was easy to install and very light weight and produces a great picture . I gave it 4 stars because I think the remote could be improved. The “ok” button is very sensitive and the black on black selections are very hard to read. Maybe the remote could light up like our cable remote does.

    The sales person also didn't know the answer to this question since the specs from LG don't mention IPS. Last year's model was IPS. But the sales person did the "screen tap" test (VA panels will show a "flash" on the screen, IPS panels don't!) and lo and behold the 50UN7300PUF is indeed an IPS!!
