    Magnetron Failed the Warranty is Misleading
    The magnetron on mine failed well before its time. While LG advertises a 10-year magnetron warranty, what they don't tell you is that you still have to pay for the labour to replace it. On top of that, the only option is to drive to an authorised repair centre (in my case nearly an hour away) and make two separate trips to drop off and collect it (4 hours of driving). A warranty that costs you time, fuel and labour fees is barely a warranty at all. Very disappointing from a brand at this price point.

    Very disappointed
    Absolutely none of the packaging was recyclable (plastic coated cardboard and polystyrene). Annoyingly LG seems to make no effort to care for the environment. The microwave itself works fine but don't most microwave ovens? However, the stupid electronic jingle plays when the cooking/heating has completed is also totally unnecessary and annoying.

No, the touch controls on this model are not illuminated, however, being light in colour against a dark background gives them excellent contrast allowing the controls to be easily identified under most lighting conditions and in most installation types.
