[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought TV for Bedroom use for wife who had 5 strokes in 2 years and is bedridden. Was happy enough with it except for daylight hours when TV looked washed out and black was only a light gray. About a year ago she stated her eye sight was getting bad and TV was difficult to see - part of her stroke condition, so we thought no more about it until I tried to adjust colour, brightness etc. To my surprise, I found a bluish, pinkish tinge through the center of TV with a couple lighter tinges towards edge of TV. So it was not wife's eyesight problem but the TV's problem. No adjustment helped and colours were off and skin tones were pink. Never had a TV with that problem before. Now the LG is well and truly out of warranty because I didn't notice it fast enough. Also the remote is too small and fiddly and there was no magic remote available. Would have used our 42" LG but can't get Youtube on it any more (or Stan/Netflix). Looking forward to seeing new 48 inch LG when I get spare time to look around.
