[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this blender 2 months ago after using the older KitchenAid version of the same blender daily for 15 years. When I first used the new blender, I was concerned about the way it moved around the counter when using the crush ice mode and how noisy it was. The blender is too light for the power of the motor. Today while making a fruit smoothie, the blades stopped turning. On inspection I noticed that the flimsy rubber fitting with shallow spines in the base of the blender had been stripped, thus no longer turning the blades. There was a film of liquid rubber around the inside base of the clear plastic pitcher. This blender is poorly designed and the use of flimsy materials have caused it to stop functioning after only 2 mos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this blender. When I saw it I fell in love with it! I love the design and color. Has great quality but doesn't work good. I tried to use it but I was scared because it moves too much. I don't now if It blends well because I turned it off right away because I thought it was going to fall of from shaking a lot, it sounds like it is very powerful. I feel so bad that I have to return it because I loved the color and design, but its not a reason to convince me. I definitely don't recommend it.:(
