I attended a few Thermomix gatherings and was very tempted however, as an experienced cook. The things I didn’t like, like that it decides how long to cook my onions for, therefore how caramelised they would be, things that an inexperienced cook may appreciate, i didn’t like. This product replaces many appliances I have in the kitchen, but it isn’t push button cooking. It doesn’t tell me what to put in and when.... it does all the functions but still allows me to control everything. I only just got my cook processor and I’d love to give another review after a few months of using it but for now....I’ve only poached some rhubarb and made some raspberry jam/coulis....I also made a stew so used only a few functions.....I can’t wait to make bread and have somewhere that creates the perfect temperature for it to rise in and I have many many projects and meals I am looking forward to....so if I can, I’ll write another review later but so far, loving it! Also, it matches my black kitchenaid mixer, toaster and kettle....!

I like the size of the machine and the multiple tools, it is quite it does perform well overall. However, there are a few problems: * mine comes up with error one very easily. * even when using stir assist, i still consistently get a burnt patch. * the tools are great but they never seem to get to the bottom properly, and are a bugger to clean. * whipping is not a strong point. but the machine is easy to use, its easy to clean when it hasn't burnt to the bottom. it is very versatile.
