[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kettle is easy to fill and the cover on the spout is easy to open. That's a good feature because when the water boils the whistle is LOUD. That too is a good thing because it's easy to get distracted and forget that the kettle's on the burner. There's no ignoring this whistle. The kettle feels heavy for its size and the stainless steel band around the circumference makes it look sleek.

I bought this kettle few years ago, loved it's look and enjoyed touching it. Kettle is not cheap, and I was disappointed finding out that all bottom inside got heavily rusted. Also red coat from bottom started chipping too creating uneven surface with holes. I wanted replace it for new one, but changed my mind reading other reviews. That is serious technical problem with that lovely piece.
