    Ok food processor but useless as a blender
    I was hoping to sale some cupboard space by getting an all in one but alas this can not handle making smoothies with even soft frozen fruit like bananas and raspberries and leaves me with frozen lumps in when I try to make a smoothy. Also the plastic is very brittle, knocked the blender from the lowest shelf on the pantry and it cracked to bits. Not happy with my purchase at all.

    I bought this item two weeks ago and everything was supplied except for optional items like Juicer, grinding mill, blend extract 2go and express serve. All implements are working good. Some recipes ideas would be nice. Used QR code for Warranty but just suggested other Kenwood products.

    AWFUL PRODUCT
    I have always been an avid Kenwood fan and ever since I can remember, my Mum had a Kenwood Chefette with attachments which we used a LOT. I bought this product off the back of that, and also the reliable K-Mix stick blender/food processor I used for years and finally wore out due to overuse. I bought this product a year or so ago, and regret the money wasted! I had wanted to replace the motor part of my stick blender, but sadly the part is no longer available! :-( I was looking forward to owning and using another Kenwood product. Sadly the MultiPro hasn't lived up to its hype, advertised claims and therefore, my expectation for the following reasons: Poor chopping and blending ability. It chops at the very bottom of the bowl. To chop or blend everything, the contents have to be manually pushed down to the bottom. Grating attachments are too far away from the edge of the bowl and the gap above is also quite large, which means quite of lot of product is wasted as chunks of food get trapped on the blade, or between the blade and bowl. The chunks are too large to include in the grated product, and too large to feed through again. Using the two spindles for the Express Serve results in the bowl and the Express Chute items needing to be washed as both are used with the Express Serve on the top. The spinning disc that feeds the product down the chute also doesn't meet the sides of the round bit, and there is the same problem as with regular grating and chopping, as well as stuff going down the side and into the bowl. The blender jug is plastic and thus not suitable for hot liquids, so not great for soups and other hot/warm foods. I did read the manual, however, probably didn't really take it in that the machine (motor) can only operate for 60 seconds, and then requires a 15 minute rest period to cool down. WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK? Smoothie makers have a 3 minute usage time and shorter rest period! How can I grate a whole 1kg of cheese and do other meal prep in 60 seconds? At a time when people are increasingly time poor and looking for appliances to help save time, how does this appliance do this? I recently went to use the appliance and I am guessing the motor has karked it, as it no longer works. I am disappointed, sad, and plain angry. I saved up and spent a LOT of money in good faith and it has been a complete waste. I don't have money to throw away, and I don't have the money to replace this item either. If I could give zero, or negative stars, I 100% would. Don't be conned like I was!
