I replaced a very noisy popular brand, similar size fridge that had uneven cooling/freezing spots in the fridge cabinet. Frost free freezer was not frost free & would ice up with the fan knocking loudly. Replacement did not fix this! I have had the Kelvinator for nearly 5 years & have nothing but praise for its operation, layout & suitability. Veges keep well.

If I could give less than one star I absolutely would because that would still be more than its worth. We bought this fridge a little over 2 and a half years ago, spending more than I usually would with the intention of having a good quality fridge that would last. I’d have been better off buying ice and living out of an esky, less dangerous. The door to our fridge fell off. It’s a big heavy door. With no warning, no creaking, at no point did it look like it was bending or anything. Just normal then falling straight off when opened by my husband and landing directly on his foot. Not five minutes earlier, my 2 year old toddler had stood in front of it while I opened the door. Lucky it didn’t fall on her, the weight would have seriously injured if not potentially killed her. We went back to where we bought it and when they contacted kelvinator they basically said it’s out of warranty not there problem. On inspection the large heavy door they’ve put on the front of the fridge is held up with cheap, bad quality plastic that just snapped off. Please don’t buy anything kelvinator, it’s not worth the stress or the money.
