    With regards to why this specific product is only suitable for QLD customers is this unit is equipped with a DRED Technology feature called - 'PeakSmart Technology'. Energy-saving PeakSmart technology caps energy consumption when the electricity network reaches peak demand but these smart meter networks are currently only in QLD, so this feature would only benefit those living there. If you are living in any other state than QLD, rest assured there are the exact same alternatives for these products, that exclude this feature.
