    Underpowered
    Underpowered for my needs - my fault though I thought it would work better in a larger space. Only good for small rooms about 10 square metres and no more. I must comment on the design though which seems questionable. The drain hole is blocked by a little rubber gizmo thing that is screwed to the base of the unit from the inside which makes it impossible to remove. This results in the tray filling up with water which covers screws and other parts. It seems that the built up water is supposed to aid in cooling but, because the water remains stagnant in the tray, the whole thing is a breeding ground for mould and rust. An astoundingly stupid idea!

    The unit works very well and is much quieter than our old box A/C. The deliverers were careless and broke one of the vanes.

A smaller unit will not adequately cool the space and will cause the machine to work excessively hard to try and lower the temperature. This can lead to higher energy costs.     Good morning, Thank you for this product question, the best option is to measure the area that you are wanting to cool and I'll provide you with the information on how to calculate the correct size to suit your room. Please keep in mind these are room air conditioners Not a unit to cool the whole home. Add the total area that you want to cool, for example, open such as a living room, dining room & kitchen area totals 60m2 then multiply this by 0.15 should provide you with the correct Kilowatt system. 60 x 0.15= 9kw I hope this information will assist you when shopping here with us at Appliances Online.
