This is due to the mounting of the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the midrange and bass cone, allowing for the balanced dispersal of sound. A damped tweeter loading tube eliminates sound produced from the back of the tweeter, creating greater sound detail.
Uni-Q Driver
Using the power of NASA-developed magnets, KEF was able to develop a tweeter small enough to mount at the acoustic centre of the bass unit voice coil. This results in consistent and wide sound dispersion.
