Two drivers and two Auxiliary Bass Radiators (ABRs) form the front face of the Q750, just waiting to unleash a stream of majestic audio.
KEF’s signature Uni-Q driver takes pride of place at the top of the unit. The Uni-Q array acoustically combines the high and mid-range frequencies by mounting the tweeter in the centre of the midrange and bass cone. This results in a more accurate three-dimensional sound that is evenly dispersed around the room. Resting a bit lower on this auditory totem pole is the 6.5 inch aluminium bass driver, delivering tight, impactful low tones.
The bass driver is assisted by two ABRs, making use of a new surround and rear suspension to deliver bass with increased control and greater boom. Wrapping up the entire package is the closed midrange cabinet design, which reduces the load on the Uni-Q midrange cone, delivers sharp bass and increasing detail of the overall sound.

Using the power of NASA-developed magnets, KEF was able to develop a tweeter small enough to mount at the acoustic centre of the bass unit voice coil. This results in consistent and wide sound dispersion.
