I had a Flip 4 for 10 years an I just recently lost it. It’s probably surviving out in the ditch on the road. Anyway, I bought a Flip 6 and realized it was mono and not stereo so I returned it and bought a referb Flip 4. It’s just as good asu first one. It’s truly a buy for life product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Flip 4 is an excellent portable bluetooth speaker. In my opinion, it is hands down the best portable speaker in it's price range. It produces excellent sound quality and is completely waterproof. It is very affordable and provides excellent battery life. The battery life is rated at 12 hours per charge with moderate usage. My Flip 4 was the center of attention at my sister in laws birthday party. The speaker played from around 3:00 pm until 11:00 pm at about 70 % volume. When all was said and done the battery was still indicating 2 bars left out of 5. People could not believe how long it had been playing and every one kept asking who made it and how much was it worth? I have to say that the Flip 4 is a definite steal. I also compared it against my other portable speakers and this is my conclusion. The speaker is well balanced and has a emphasis on mid-range and treble. You do not need to use an equalizer app with this speaker as it sounds very good right out the box. The sound is crisp, clear and loud with no distortion. The bass is also good and goes down to around 70hz which is impressive for a speaker this size. In fact, it has the same frequency response as the JBL Xtreme. Another great feature is the JBL connect plus, which allows you to pair up to 100+ JBL compatible speakers. I truly wish that JBL releases a firmware update for the Charge 3 and the Xtreme as I would love to be able to hear all three speakers synced and playing together. I bought it in 2023 lost it in the summer and just now found it and it was still charged and working how does this happen
