    Fabric covering and essentially no MANUAL
    A little concerned how the fabric covering is going to hold up. It would be nice if literature offered instructions on how to clean fabric covering. Heck, it would have been nice to have USABLE LITERATURE. Why in the world would you go to the expense to include a pamphlet that has the lightest shade of gray against a white background and smallest print possible? There is no user friendly manual and when you click on their MANUALS AND DOWNLOADS link on the JBL's Flip 3 webpage, you get nothing. Surely, JBL can do better than this. Listen to your customers, I've seen this complaint re: Flip 3 posted before.

    battery finally crapped out
    iv owned this speaker for 4-5 years and it exceeded all my expectations in every way, the battery finally failed after years of constent use and abuse and there wasn't even a second thought i went and bought a new flip 5 and im still using the 3 as a laptop speaker just gota keep it plugged now

    one tough, great sounding unit
    bought this about 4 months ago to use on long daily drives, is has seen the worst of a canadian winter and back roads, BIG temp shifts and some even bigger potholes and vibration.on back roads.....and it's been champion. great sound and toughness

    The FLIP 3 can be charged from a wall outlet with an output of 110-220V as the adapter for the USB chargers are auto-volt which means that it can be plugged into any 110-220V outlet. mmolina, Appliances Online
    Hi, I want to to set up a password or code so only people with the code can access the speaker. Is it possible? I want to buy for hotel rooms ans cannot have other guests connecting to the wrong speaker. edholloway · 2017-08-25
    Setting a password or code is not possible for the Flip 3 as this type of speaker utilizes Bluetooth connectivity if there is a Bluetooth capable device in range where the speaker can connect. mmolina, Appliances Online
    I have two flip 3's. i have them connected and in stereo and one is not as loud nor does in have as much bass. I tried it in party mode and the problem is still there. Actually when not connected one has only about half the bass. glennc · 2017-08-23
    We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Please ensure both speakers are updated to the most recent software version and this is not due to a volume level adjustment issue. If this doesn't help, please try resetting the unit by following these steps: - In power ON mode press and hold the "Volume +" and "Phone" buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds . - The FLIP 3 will power Off by itself. The FLIP 3 shuts down, and is now reset. - Reconnect the speaker and re-check.     I have had my JBL Flip 3 for 7 months, but now it will not hold a charge. While it did not hold charge, it still played music and worked beautifully until the battery died. I have tried multiple different charging cords and outlets. How can I solve this? sjb2 · 2017-08-16
